When I was working at California College of the Arts, upper management hired a consultant to administer the CliftonStrengths Talent assessment to all support staff. My core theme was Restorative, which essentially states that I’m adept at identifying and resolving problems. No one was surprised at my results, since I’d already spent the majority of my career doing just that — fixing broken systems, improving operational efficiencies, and making challenging interfaces more intuitive.
